Cow Protection
In Hindu culture, the cow holds a sacred and deeply revered position. Beyond religious significance, cows are an integral part of rural Indian life — providing milk, supporting agriculture, and sustaining livelihoods. Yet many cows in rural areas are left without adequate food, shelter, or medical care.
Vishwanayak Foundation's Cow Protection Program is dedicated to the welfare of cows in rural communities. We ensure that these gentle animals receive the food, shelter, and medical attention they need to live with dignity and health.

"Caring for cows is not just an act of compassion — it is a commitment to preserving the cultural, spiritual, and agricultural heritage of rural India."
We distribute fodder, hay, and nutritious feed to cows in villages where food scarcity affects both humans and animals. Our teams regularly visit community shelters and individual farms to ensure cows receive consistent, balanced nutrition throughout the year.
We organise regular veterinary camps in villages to provide health check-ups, vaccinations, and treatment for sick or injured cows. Our partnerships with local veterinary doctors ensure that cows receive timely medical attention, reducing suffering and preventable deaths.
We support the construction and maintenance of gaushalas (cow shelters) to provide safe, clean, and comfortable housing for stray and aging cows. Our volunteers ensure these shelters are kept hygienic and well-stocked with food and water at all times.
Your donation directly contributes to the feeding, healing, and sheltering of cows in rural India. Join us in honouring and protecting these sacred animals.
